Bollywood actress Kajol celebrated Friendship Day with a strong message of self-respect and feminine energy. The actress took to her official Instagram on Sunday to percent a heartfelt tribute dedicated now not to a friend, however to herself.

 

A Journey Through Time

The Instagram submission was a series of pictures, starting with the Kabhi Khushi-Kabhi-Gham superstar’s latest pictures and transitioning to older nostalgic pictures highlighting her personal evolution throughout the visually adventurous years.

 

The promise itself

In the caption, Kajol penned an emotional message to the only person who fought for her when she didn’t understand. She wrote, "Happy Friendship Day to the only one who carried me and kept using me before.. Later you will see how precious she became and how much she fought for me even if I didn't see it.. I see her now.. And I know her and love her much more... And finally I promise to love her forever 🙏 #happyfriendshipday."

The submission ended with a touching nod to the tribe where she provided old pictures with her sister Tanisha Mukerji and no other pictures of her mother, veteran actress Tanuja.
