Twinkle posted pictures of the couple wearing traditional Indian attire on social media. Adding his typical wit to the post, he humorously pointed out that their celebration lacked classic Indian sweets or desserts. He joked, "The only traditional thing in this picture is our clothes. There are no laddus or barfis visible in it, just some oranges."
Meanwhile, on the other side of the world, Akshay Kumar was seen making sure he doesn't miss the family reunion. The actor was photographed at the Mumbai airport with daughter Nitara, who was presumably on her way to London to join Twinkle for the all-important Diwali celebrations.
