A proud moment for Shekhar Tonite
Appearing on the latest episode of Shekhar Tonight, a celebrated
speak show that was organized using Shekhar Suman, Farah Khan opened up about a
deeply emotional milestone in her career. She was happy to talk about ShahRukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan’s choreography in his fairly predictable
directorial debut collection The Ba**ds of Bollywood.
During the candid interview, Farah beamed with pride and
discussed her visuals on Ghafoor, the ultra-octane single
track featured in Aryan's series Reflecting on the adventure of many years, she
expressed huge joy to see her professional relationship with her family evolve
over generations.
Completing the circle with the next generation
Revealing the poetic nature of the moment, Farah declared,
"I did Ghafoor with Tamannaah these days, she or he hosted
it. I started with SRK, and now I have choreographed Aryan's direction.
I am very happy that the group is done."
Her record with her own family runs deep. Farah Khan made
her directorial debut with Shah Rukh Khan with Main Hoon Na back
in 2004, and she has choreographed film stars in legendary songs like Chaiyya
Chaiyya, Dard-e-Disco etc.
Inside the Ghafoor Panel
The tune Ghafoor, composed with Shasvat Sachdev and
sung with the help of Shilparao and Ujwal Gupta, gives a
high-electric spectacle in the collection. Headed by Tamannaah Bhatia,
the panel additionally boasts veteran Bollywood stars Ranjit Shakti Kapoor
and Gulshan Grover. Recognized for a larger-than-life musical staging, Farah
found Tamannaah was actually excited about how the choreography grew
from being out.
Aryan Khan’s directorial debut
While his father rules in front of the camera, Aryan Khan
firmly chooses the director's chair. Produced through Gauri Khan
under Red Chillies Entertainment, The Ba**ds of Bollywood marks Aryan’s
respectable entry into filmmaking. The satirical comedy-drama boasts of a Shakti
Kendra ensemble comprised of Bobby Deol, Lakshya, Raghav Juyal
and Mona Singh.
