Hera Pheri Three Perils: Cute’s Devastating Final Decision
CEO confirms exit
In a huge blow to comedy fans,
senior filmmaker Priyadarshan has officially said goodbye to the Hera Pheri
trio. While producer Feroz Nadiadwala recently assured lovers that the triquel
has moved on the right track, he also quietly revealed that the iconic director
is no longer associated with the event. Priyadarshan has now fully confirmed
this development, acknowledging that the situation in the film is much more
fragile than previously believed.
"The film will never be released"
Priyadarshan didn’t just confirm
his exit – he dropped a bombshell about his life in the film itself. "What
Firoz said is genuine. I am no longer attached to the Hera Pheri trio as a
gift," he said. But the director went a step further and cast critical
doubt on whether or not the audience would ever see the finished product.
"To the high quality of my knowledge, Hera Pheri Three will by no means
hit the screen because of the multitude of jail troubles and personal
controversies. Whether I think about or not now is immaterial," he
discovered.
A franchise mired in legal battles
The number one roadblock in
construction neck and neck remains complex jail litigation. Battle facilities
claimed by South’s production house Seven Arts International, which claims to
have the rights to the Hera Pheri franchise and its likeable characters – no
longer Nadiadwala. Although the developer aggressively disputed this claim, the
messy property dispute essentially paralyzed the development. A spokesperson
for Akshay Kumar’s production house earlier said that under the idea that they
bought the rights from Nadiadwala, the situation is additionally complicated
through the reality that he is the legal owner.
A troubled cast
Beyond the courtroom drama, the film
suffers from serious instability in its leading solid. The schedule was altered
and initially celebrated as a grand reunion that brought back the distinctive
trio of Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty and Paresh Rawal led by Priyadarshan, but
the production was rocked in May 2025 when Paresh Rawal suddenly walked away
from the film and was convinced to return. Interestingly, no matter the chaos
surrounding the 0.33 episode, the lead trio and producer Feroz Nadiadwala
refrained from collaborating in the recently released Welcome to the Jungle,
leaving fanatics confused as to why Hera Pheri 3 is still in limbo.
