The legacy is an honor
In a heartfelt Instagram post, Rakul said it was an honor and an
unforgettable joy to be associated with a story so deeply rooted in the
records, heritage and lifestyle of India. She shared glimpses of the big
trailer launch event and opened up quite a bit about what the event type is for
her. "An honor to be part of something larger than life, bigger than
cinema, our albums, our history, our Ramayana. We represent India to the world,
a sentiment that is definitely past words. Can't wait for you all to step into
this international with us," she wrote.
Rakul's role and starring role
Rakul Preet Singh will portray Surpanakha, the powerful and fierce
sister of the demon king Ravana in Nitesh Tiwari’s fierce two-part variant. The
epic stars Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita and Yash as Ravana
in the lead roles. The film has been deliberately made as a two-element show,
with the front installment coming in time for Deepavali 2026 and the second
single installment scheduled for Deepavali 2027.
A stellar trailer screening
The big trailer version of Ramayana passed away in Delhi on July
18. Ramdev, Ashwini Iyer Tiwari, Karan Jóhar, Apurva Mehta and others. Kumar
Vishwa, a poet and producer who has made additional contributions to the film,
organized the evening.
Yash reflects on his journey
Speaking at the event, Yash explained how being a part of the
legendary epic gave him a memorable expert opportunity and additionally helped
him improve his Hindi. Expressing his gratitude to producer Namit Malhotra, the
K.G.F: Chapter 1 celebrity said that the work was a special journey on every
individual and expert front. He also continued to give speeches in Hindi until
his release.
