The long wait for fans of cult traditional awarapan is finally
over. The makers just dropped a trailer for a highly anticipated sequel that
promised a darker, grittier and extra action-packed bankruptcy. Starring Emraan
Hashmi in the lead role and directed by Nitin Kakkar, Awrapan 2 is
gearing up for a grand theatrical release on August 14, 2026.
A glimpse of the sequel
This romantic action movie serves as a sequel to the beloved 2007
original. The newly released trailer ahead of the film's debut wastes no time
in setting up a tedious, setting side-story that promises to honor its
predecessor while dialing up the intensity.
Shiva’s Path of Destruction
The 25-minute 25-2d trailer offers a glimpse of Emraan Hashmi’s
character Shivam on a dark road. It shows him channeling his inner demons and
transforming deep pain into fuel for natural, momentum-driven rage. The
pictures depict him unleashing a chain of mayhem and firmly establishing Awarapan 2 as a slick and gritty motion entertainer.
